Does Capitalism teach, reinforce, and even promote Antisocial Personality Disorder?

Yes, it does.

“Antisocial personality disorder is a mental health condition in which a person has a long-term pattern of manipulating, exploiting, or violating the rights of others. This behavior is often criminal.
Causes, incidence, and risk factors

Cause of antisocial personality disorder is unknown. Genetic factors and environmental factors, such as child abuse, are believed to contribute to the development of this condition. People with an antisocial or alcoholic parent are at increased risk. Far more men than women are affected. The condition is common among people who are in prison.

Fire-setting and cruelty to animals during childhood are linked to the development of antisocial personality….

A person with antisocial personality disorder may:

Be able to act witty and charming

Be good at flattery and manipulating other people’s emotions

Break the law repeatedly

Disregard the safety of self and others

Have problems with substance abuse

Lie, steal, and fight often

Not show guilt or remorse

Often be angry or arrogant”

Definition of Antisocial personality disorder by the US national Library of Medicine.

Most human societies have Antisocial relationships with animals and the environment. In capitalist society, human being’s relationship with Animals and the world around them is taught to be Antisocial and this behavior is reinforced by media, schools, police, etc. People,

Act charming with their pet animals, and even create strong relationships with their furry possessions.

Though there is a lack of animal rights laws, what little exist are commonly broken

The safety and well being  of animals and the environment is disregarded in almost every means of production, and social interaction

The idea of lying to, fighting with, or stealing from an animal is considered a non-issue, maybe even a foreign concept to many

It is not taught to show any remorse for the animals we eat, or guilt for their deaths. This of course also applies to production and the environment.

The comparisons between Antisocial behavior, and capitalist attitudes toward animals, the environment; everything we share the planet with, clearly show that Capitalism teaches and reinforces Antisocial personality disorder.
